Generative AI Policy
We regard artificial intelligence as a resource that can extend a researcher’s capabilities, but not as a tool that assumes the role of author, reviewer, or editor. All scientific materials presented on our website must be the product of human intellect, while the use of AI should remain strictly auxiliary and must not distort authorship or undermine the reliability of the work.
PRIORITY OF HUMAN OVERSIGHT
Any content submitted for publication must be reviewed, corrected, and approved by the author. AI may assist with technical or supporting tasks, but:
- it cannot make scientific decisions;
- it cannot produce the final version of the material;
- it cannot replace scientific reasoning.
We expect every author to use AI in a way that ensures the final outcome reflects their own intellectual contribution rather than the output of a generative algorithm.
PERMITTED AREAS OF AI USE
Within this policy, AI may be used for the following tasks:
- improving phrasing or overall readability of the text;
- checking spelling and technical errors;
- conducting rapid searches for relevant sources.
AI must NOT generate academic claims, conclusions, critical arguments, or the author’s stylistic voice.
DISCLOSURE OF AI USE
We require transparency. If any AI tool has been used:
- this must be explicitly stated at the end of the article (e.g., in a section titled “Use of AI” or similar);
- the specific tool used and its purpose must be identified;
- the description should be accurate, without minimising or exaggerating the role of AI.
Failure to disclose AI use is considered a breach of ethical standards.
PROHIBITED PRACTICES
The following practices are strictly forbidden on our website:
- generating articles wholly or substantially using AI;
- submitting AI-generated data as empirical or experimental evidence;
- creating images, figures, tables, or statistics using AI without clear verification and appropriate labelling;
- using AI to replace peer review or scientific evaluation;
- uploading unpublished manuscripts to external AI systems (due to confidentiality risks).
CONFIDENTIALITY AND RIGHTS
Users are responsible for reviewing the privacy policies of any AI tools they employ. We remind you that:
- some systems store submitted materials;
- transferring author-created content into an external AI tool may infringe intellectual property rights;
- the author is fully responsible for the security of data uploaded to third-party services.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and ethical quality of the submitted materials.
- Reviewers must assess submissions independently, without delegating analysis to AI systems.
- The editorial office reserves the right to reject any submission if AI use contradicts this policy or compromises academic integrity.
DYNAMIC NATURE OF THE POLICY
As technology evolves rapidly, this policy is not static. We will update it in line with international recommendations, technological developments, and emerging ethical challenges.
