Aims and Scope

The journal aims to become an important scientific platform for research on the development of cultural and artistic fields, including national and international musical arts, theatrical and painting schools, as well as architecture, choreography, and cultural creation. The goal is to promote innovative ideas and scientific approaches in these areas, foster the development of interdisciplinary research, and encourage the exchange of experiences among specialists.

Since the publication of Volume 24, Issue 1 in 2024, the editorial board has decided to narrow the scope of the journal, focusing on specific areas of cultural and artistic research. From now on, articles addressing the following topics are accepted:

  1. Research on the development of national and international musical arts: examining the evolution of musical traditions both in Ukraine and worldwide.
  2. The functioning of painting and theatrical schools: studying the history, development, and impact of painting and theatrical schools at both the national and international levels. This topic focuses on the characteristics of individual artistic directions, their interaction with other forms of art, and their significance in shaping cultural heritage.
  3. Specificity of directing: research on the role of the director in various art forms, including theatre, film, music, and contemporary art. This includes the study of directing methods, creative approaches to the implementation of stage and cinematic projects, as well as the analysis of the styles of famous directors.
  4. Features of cultural creation: investigating the processes of cultural creation, their impact on the development of society, and the role of cultural initiatives in shaping social values and norms.
  5. Directions of development in interior and exterior architecture: studying current trends in architectural design, focusing on the development of interior and exterior architecture, their functionality and aesthetic value in the context of global changes. Issues regarding the interaction of architecture with cultural and social transformations are also discussed.
  6. Research on the development of choreographic art: analysing the evolution of choreography and its role in cultural and artistic processes. Particular attention is paid to contemporary trends in dance art, the impact of new styles and techniques on traditional forms of choreography, as well as the development of dance theatre.
